EU Ltd at our Kings Lynn branch have become challenge heroes on Friday 14th November for BBC Children in Need
The team at EU Ltd in Kings Lynn have taken on the challenge to cycle 100 miles between all the staff at the branch in a day. This is the equivalent to cycling from Kings Lynn to the London Eye. Many of the staff took part to spread the load and actually beat their target and cycled 120 miles in 7 ½ hours, an amazing achievement. Money raised will go to support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. EU Ltd have ten vans at the Kings Lynn branch which deliver orders throughout the day. On Friday they sold cakes from the vans too, these were so popular that they were sold out by 11am! The staff in branch and on the vans we in fancy dress all day including Children in Need Pudsey onesies, and Children in Need t-shirts to promote their efforts on the day.

Due to the success of this fundraising event The Shortis Group, the parent company to EU Ltd, have agreed to donate £1000 to BEN who are a dedicated charity for people who work or have worked in the automotive industry. This is extremely generous and a lovely way to support two charities at the same time.
BBC Children in Need works throughout the year to ensure that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood, and the chance to reach their full potential. It relies on the energy and commitment of thousands of fundraising heroes and supporters across the UK, who donate their time and money to support the Appeal. Whether through cake sales, dance offs or treasure hunts, every penny of the money raised goes towards supporting projects across the UK.
Every single penny raised by BBC Children in Need goes directly to UK projects working with children and young people who may be affected by neglect, abuse or poverty, or those who have faced challenges in their lives such as serious illness, disabilities and psychological disorders.
Massive congratulations to all the team at EU ltd Kings Lynn and to everyone who has supported them so far.
